Fortunately for fans of the hit Gears of War franchise there was a little snafu down at the Xbox Live headquarters. It turns out Cliff Bleszinski originally was scheduled to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night to officially announce the release of Gears of War 3 in April. Unfortunately his appearance was rescheduled to Monday and nobody told Microsoft who went ahead an posted the announcement on the Xbox Live dashboard. Either way the important thing is that Gears of War 3 is officially on the way and you can color me excited to conclude this epic series.

Rawlings has released quite possibly the future of autographed baseballs! The Rawlings Recordable Autograph ball not only leaves a sweet spot to snag your favorite player's John Hancock it also has a 1.5" diameter display area for photos of your prize moment. That's not the kicker though, you can even have your hero record a personalized message directly into the ball! Let's just hope they don't get the wrong idea when you're shoving a baseball square in their face.

Super Street Fighter IV Coming to Arcades!

Posted by Snake Master Flex On 4:58 PM 0 comments

Capcom confirmed today that Super Street Fighter IV would indeed be getting its own arcade cabinet. The estimated arrival date is said to be around July/August. This can only qualify as great news as the arcade industry has been struggling as of late. What better way to bring it back to prominence than to throw one of the most popular fighting games ever back out there?

The Universal Wrist Charger

Designed to charge any device that requires up to 5 volts of electricity, the universal wrist charger looks like it could be the next fashion trend! Ok maybe that was me being a bit overzealous, however it is a handy little device that can charge your portable devices on the go obviously for a limited amount of time. The 4 LED lights indicate what level of charge your device is at, also allowing you to ATTEMPT to pass it off as just a ridiculously fancy wrist band. The wrist charger is available on Think Geek for $35.

Major Nelson announced today that users of Xbox Live who purchased the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Map Pack will receive a 7 day credit to their Xbox Live Gold account to "reward their loyalty". Surely it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the map pack was plagued with connectivity issues on it's first day live right? The change will be reflected on each users account starting May 1st.
